| | bing bing bang bang! that's the sound of firecrackers in my housing
estate. attempts to call the police to nab these idiots have fallen on
deaf ears. just during cny i hv made 7 calls to the pondok police to
book these "terrorists wannabes" and on one occassion told the officer
on duty if he doesnt catch these suicide bombers, i will take a gun and
shoot them! Well, of course it was a joke but because of poor
enforcement, the public is taking those bans lightly. Look at the ppl
talking while driving without a hands-free. Look at the motorists
jumping-Qs or using the emergency lanes during a jam. All boils down to
poor enforcement and sometimes the lack of it. On a bad day you will
surely come across 1 motorist beating the red light. But on a lucky
day, you will find several. If only i hv a videcam that can capture all
these precious moments like what the police in USA have.
So, we are back to square 1. You will only find offenders being nab
during those OPS OPS campaign. Now i believe they are into the 7th
season liao. OPS sikap 7 if i am not mistaken. But the death toll
remains high.
My verdict : do away with OPS and get the average law abiding citizens
to double up as enforcement officers and arm them with videocams to nab
these offenders. For every valid submission, we get paid. Now that's a
job!
